Google surpasses Apple…
…as the world's most valuable brand! As every year, the communications agency MillwardBrown has published a list of the 100 most valuable brands, the so-called 'BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands'. In doing so, Google has overtaken the Apple brand.
In 2014, Google is the world's most valuable brand with an estimated brand value of USD 158.843 billion, ahead of Apple and IBM. According to the assessment by the US company, the most valuable German brand remains SAP in 19th place with a brand value of over USD 36.390 billion.
These examples clearly demonstrate that the registration and maintenance of trade marks can create considerable enterprise assets.
